I understand what you mean, we are just so much slower than sighted people with a mouse and anything that improves the gap is good, but what is the point of having a fast screen reader when you can't do half of what you could with another program?
Maybe it is useful for certain times when I need pure speed, but honestly Narrator is very fast as well, and actually has more basic features compared to the free version of ZDSR. For example no graphics labeling, OCR, or translation, but excellent Word and chrome support, customizable verbosity settings, English braille, elements list and document summary, and more usability with built in Windows 10 apps.
Even NVDA is quite fast with Espeak on a good system.
