The first couple were good, but after things diverged from real history it got more over the top. Suddenly nukes. Even Clancy admitted he ran out of evil enemy countries a while ago.
Now a lot of his detail has slipped and the research he was renouned for is all but gone, and it's so Americancentric and pro right wing it's intolerable.
Just my thoughts on the matter.
