Re: your thoughts: endless v.s. goal orientated
I guess it's a matter of preference, but I've always enjoyed goal oriented games over endless ones.
Also story over just finishing the game.
I couldn't care less about fighting for a spot on the highscore board.
But this is only my opinion, I don't think there is anything wrong with endless or score oriented games, they are just not for me.
