Re: your thoughts: endless v.s. goal orientated

My own take on this is that it depends on the game.  Most of my favorite games have been those with a goal to achieve, an ending, but with much replay value at more challenging levels.  I would however like to see a truly massive game with endless things to discover and endless things to achieve along the way.
