For whatever it's worth, particularly as it involves someone who's not been here very long, I'd say this is the kind of thing they do need to know was resolve, however ugly it may have gotten. Why? Because they also need to know what kind of forum they're on, what kind of people they're dealing with, how the forum has progressed as the result of being attacked from the outside and how the forum did after said attack. As such, I stand by this topic as a reminder that when you try to shut up history, you're bound to progress down an ugly path of repetition.
