Just further proof in my opinion that Naughty Dog actually takes accessibility seriously. They built it in from day one. That takes a lot of effort. It says to me that they were truly serious about it, and will probably remain serious about it moving forward, as it gives them something to work with on a fundamental level for future titles. I feel like these companies that try to add it in at the last minute as a token afterthought are playing at it, doing nothing more than pandering for public relations hype. That will be the interesting thing to me, whether companies actually learn from Naughty Dog and begin to take it seriously, or whether it remains nothing more than a hobby and a public relations afterthought to them. Gamers with disabilities, no matter what those disabilities happen to be,, deserve to be more than an afterthought, and improvements to accessibility shouldn't be immediately tossed on the trash pile at the first sign of trouble or delay during development. Just my opinion.
