The fact that this topic started out being about a very specific Jaws issue, and then expanded to once again encompass a critique of Vespero's pricing practices, speaks for itself, really.
That, I believe, is what Defender is getting at. If someone brings up a problem with Jaws, there will come a point when somebody has to start trotting out completely unrelated issues and changing the focus. This does happen in regular discourse, of course, so it's not breaking rules or anything...but seriously. People at large have a really tough time analyzing their own motives for things, I think, but when you look hard enough at the pattern as it exists currently, the writing on the wall is extremely clear.
Also? That five minutes you spend bashing Jaws or bringing up unrelated points are five minutes you could spend either trying to fix those issues, or five minutes you could spend trying to talk to people who feel the same as you do as a means of initiating meaningful change. That folks will repeatedly bring up the same arguments over and over and over again on this thread, ostensibly without taking other options to improve the experience, strongly suggests that their aim is to criticize, not improve. Let me tell you something. It's very, very easy to sit back and poke holes in things. It's a lot harder to try and make yourself part of the solution.
