OK now i got it.
The trick seems to be, to hold the ctrl key down and then up and direction key at the same time. don't let go to fast. But hey, i have made it above several holes in normal mode and then there was something to my right. it was a dong dong dong dong something but i can not pass that. is that the end of the game? no final?
