don't think Windows lets apiece of software just decide it wants to run at realtime priority without you having to give it special permissions. Might be wrong, and there's one notable exception, but it's not possible to profile the one notable exception without being a developer so that's moot, and also that one notable exception is *specifically* for preventing audio glitching.
