He made it compile under Linux because I started fully supporting that on Sunday.  See issue #1.  hit the build system weekend before last, figured out Pulse on Sunday.  Python doesn't work there yet though.  Just:

mkdir build
cmake ..
make

Or however else you want to invoke CMake.
