Okay. I didn't think Brown would be that bad, but I guess since it adds new types and advantages/disadvantages, among other things, that might be a problem.
Still, Tyler's scripts run Perfect Crystal flawlessly, and they're running Anniversary Crystal with only minimal output garbage, and none of it is fatal. The scripts aren't perfect - I can reliably crash them with a particular keystroke - but they do work.
I guess what I'm getting at here is that not all romhacks are really, really weird. Some are, but many are not. I would think that the version of blue I wanted to use, for instance, would actually be pretty close to the original.
