I would totally play early Dragon Warrior games if they were scripted. I'd need to know where items are, because yeah, not being able to spam the A button to pick stuff up or whatever might be an issue otherwise. Wall bump sounds are a good thing, since at least then you'd know where the edge of the map was. I also know those games are infamously unforgiving, so that's cool.
