I'm sorry to say, but Skype is very much usable. Many blind screenreader users are using Skype on various platforms daily, and they wouldn't have done so, if Skype wasn't usable.
Maybe some people should do some research on how to use Skype successfully instead of complaining and just give up? Microsoft have talked about dropping the Skype API for very long time now. So people has been worned, so they could catch up, and learn how to use Skype if they wanted to.
