Re: shadow rine full voice version released
Okay so I managed to beat the final boss. Turns out my best bet was actually staying right in his face so that as soon as he tried powering up, I could pound him. I didn't even see his special attack. I got hit a fair bit, but since I was always following him, it meant I wasn't unintentionally gobbling up health items either.
Now, I've restarted the game on normal, and I've got a couple of questions.
1. I have way more than enough experience to level up the sword. Why can't I do it?
2. Is there something new regarding the Dragon Shrine? I refer specifically to the scaffold along the main north-south path, the very first one you're actually forced to cross. I only ask because going north to south over it never, ever works. As in, twenty-odd failed attempts from multiple starting points and I always fall. Running south to north, toward the room with the sign or pictograph or whatever, is easy. I can do it no problem. But if I try dashing
across going south (admittedly there's a bit less room to start), I just can't seem to do it. I never had this problem on easy, not regularly enough to matter, so I was thinking maybe once you break a scaffold it must stay broken or something. I dunno. Either way, it's frustrating, because it ultimately means I can't get back out and can't get to a save point.
