I believe the extra mode is automatic, since it's in my main menu. However, I believe the skyscraper is 5000BP.
Also, are the passwords the things that get you an extra dungeon, or is the extra dungeon that place where the boss is Split Fencer or whatever it is? The one quest you get sent on by the woman in the capital city, I mean.
