Re: L-works discontinuing sales of Judgment Day and Super Liam
Not sure, but I doubt they are totally abandoned as Liam still says he is making replacement keys for those who have purchased. I doubt they are on the same abandonware status as the old PB-Games were. While Philip openly gave permission for people to patch TJ, for example, Liam said no such thing about his games. so I'm afraid that those who haven't purchased his legacy titles have no proper legal way of obtaining a license now.
For some reason I am not as sad or irritated with Liam's closing as I was with Blindsoftware but I'm not even starting that discussion up again. I guess that's because Liam just outright closed the door and didn't make a last minute deal to get it all. If there was, I'm pretty sure I would'v heard about it as I am following him on twitter and listent o his streams on a somewhat regular basis, whenever he posts one that looks interesting. On several occasions he did sort of hint that his old games were going awa
y, or at the very least, that they were dated. If there had been a public announcement a while back about him closing on those games, I didn't see it.
