It's easy as heck to just use a blender to make smoothies, you really don't need a special smoothy maker to do it, just buy frozen fruit, milk, and anything else you want, stick it in the fridge and freezer as needed, pull it out when it's time, throw some measurements in with any old cup you got lieing around if you don't wana be exact, blend it up on the correct setting which almost every blender has and then check the consistancy by tasting some with a spoon or something if your just making it for your self anyway and so you dont' have to put your hand in there when it's plugged in and keep mixing till it's right, then pour out and enjoy.
