Sounds like a great project.
I have an idea for a program which might be better than remaking old dos games:
Make an emulator from the ground. An emulator where you can import whatever dos game you would like to. The emulator should have a build in screenreader, or maybe it should just work with all screenreaders.
Make two text boxes: One for text input and an other for reading.
The cursor in the reading box should automatically be placed at the top of the new incomming text, and in the settings, you should be able to choose if you want automatic reading or if you wanna read the text manually.
There are 100 if not 1000 dos games, and the games are accessible already. So why rewrite just a few of them, if such an emulator could be made?
Just my thoughts.
