I also like doing audio parodies and thigns, it's sometimes hard to remember where I put all my sonds though haha.
Regarding the boredom front, have you considered joining any extra activities/clubs? I am part of a Martial arts class and also a drama group. I'm on the computer a lot, yes, but that computer is also there for me when I get back from my hobbies, so I'm not necessarily on there every hour of every day, but I'm on here a lot. The drama group is an all day thing, the martial arts is an hour, but it gets me out of my house. I can then come on Teamtalk or whatever when I return, and it helps because you can catch up with people in person. Now, granted, there aren't any other blind people in my groups. My martial arts sessions are one to one, and the person has actually lived in china and such so he has a lot of knowledge on not just self defense but meditation and also the Chinese culture. The drama group is with people with other
disabilities, but there are some people who you can genuinely laugh with, and lots of references and discussions occur, The staff are also helpful, one staff member recently recommended that I go and see the movie version of into the woods. They have seen both the show and movie and think they complement each other.
I think if I didn't do any of those hobbies, I might be in a similar situation to you. I'm stuck in that stage in my life without a job, not knowing exactly what I want to do, while I have a btec from my college in computing, it was a lot of scripting using Microsoft Office rather than traditional programming, so I'm wondering, genuinely how much of those skills I can use as it was sort of visual.
