Hello! Firstly, a huge thank you to everybody that's backed, shared or
supported the Three Monkeys Kickstarter campaign in any way so far. We've had some absolutely fantastic messages and comments, and have been truly
humbled by the reaction.

It's fair to say, however, at this stage of the campaign we really aren't on
track to achieve our goal. We're not giving up just yet, however, and -
while we hadn't planned to do this originally, for the reasons you'll see
below - we'd like to share with you the Three Monkeys prototype demo.

We've had lots of people asking for a demo since the campaign began, so
hopefully this will give you a better insight into what the game is all
about.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:

This is a very early prototype to demonstrate just a few of the basic
mechanics that will be used within the game. It is the same prototype that
has been used to demonstrate the game at conferences. It was never intended
to be distributed as a demo.
All Voice Acting, Scripting, Sound and Development are placeholders and not
reflective of the anticipated level of production to be achieved in the
final game. Please do bear this in mind.
There is a controls and hint sheet in the package that we think it's well
worth checking out before playing.
Please use headphones when playing the demo; speakers will not give you the full effect, and you may find it more difficult to play.
There will be occasional bugs so if you find anything amiss, we suggest
restarting the game.

CONTROLS
Use the Arrow Keys to Navigate the Forest.
Use the Arrow Keys to turn and face your opponent when being attacked.
Z = Sword (Parry)
X = Sword (Attack)
C = Bow & Arrow (Hold to charge, release to fire)
LEVEL HINTS
Section 1
listen for the sound of the bird. Ensure the bird is in front of you. Walk closer to it until you are in range and shoot it down with your bow and arrow
Section 2
listen for the sound of your attacker's sword. At the right time, parry their attack. Build up enough parries to open an attack window.
Section 3
listen for the laugh of the Mullos. Turn and face and wait until they are within swing distance before attacking with your sword.
