Hmmm, I've never heard of this thing, actually the only voice I've ever heard on a bbc was a truly abysmal one my specialist school used to have on this weerd trivia quiz program that might have even been written for them specially, it manage to make "three quarters plus three quarters plus a half", sound like "Sree dwaarters plus sree dwaarters plus a mouth" it was truly horrible! then again that would've been in about 1991 and I don't think synths were so advanced at that point.
Needless to say my specialist school didn't have anything fun like moon lander, or even any fun early text games, indeed I don't know if they had any games at all as the only program I saw was that quiz thing.
I only got to play moon lander because we got given a secon hand bbc micro with a bunch of games in the late 90's, though mostly I played the classics like centipeed, felix an the evil weavels, robot that sort of thing.
