I agree entirely. In this game most of the ships go down and, if not, you have to increase your y coordinate to get to and shoot them, at least that was how Trupinum 2.0 worked.
As you'll see on my next blog post (if you read that), there will be a game with an object that rushes down at the player, and also this game requires a lot of what a game such as trupinum would need--coordinate comparing, hitting an object rushing down at you ETC... and that was able to be coded in 5 minutes. Ethin has given me a copy of the code, but that was a month or two ago and from what I saw, though the menu looked quite promising, I tried to play and enemies... well didn't do anything and I guess that's his trouble. In theory, it wreally shouldn't be so hard. The beginner level, at least, should take two hours to code at maximum. Literally the hardest thing I'm dealing with in my game, though not as complex as trupinum, is finding sounds.
