I've tried the vial of wisdom but it's not making much difference, likewise I've tried using or not using the rage buff sinse I know that lowers wisdom and intelligence but again it seems those dam soul leach attacks still hit for between 25 and 30 damage each and usually I get hit with at least three each turn, indeed in my last attempt I took two corianda potions, was healed to the tune of 130 hp giving me a total of 150, then went down in one turn.
I've also tried both with the berserker helmet and warrior's gear boosting strength, or with the steel gear boosting armour, but neither worked out.
It is also irritating that I need to grind so much for gold between attempts, but with the vial of wisdom 200 gold and the corianda potions 50 each, with me sometimes getting as little as 11 gold on a drop it doesn't seem there is a way to speed this up, particularly sinse I need to buy extra corianda potions to heal, indeed I've commited su
icide a couple of times just to get my stats back up sinse it's less work than getting the bloody potions.
It's okay, I'm coming to the conclusion that human is a cruddy class for knight, and I think I'll try another combination instead, maybe a gnome wizard sinse I've payed for the gnome unlock.
I am a little disappointed though sinse up until this fight with the enchantress things were going pretty well, oh well, live learn and try a different class, though if indeed there is an impossible or near impossible race/class combo in the game perhaps humans should not be labeled as "good for any class" in the docs.
