mmm Sebby potentially interesting. i'd sort of assumed 7 bullets was the same sort of area as it's killing time, ie, a modern game about assassins.
It's not that I've got anything against genre other than speculative fiction, it's just I find speculative fiction mostly more interesting, albeit that like anything else both can be dire when done badly.
As a teenager I went through a period of reading a lot of spy, thriller and some military fiction including some of the classics like Alister Mcclane, Jack Higgins and Ian Flemming. The problem was I found that a lot of that sort of thing got a little too blatantly nationalistic or politically motivated for my liking and could if badly done run into very annoying formulae and stock characters, and the bits I liked, the normal characters in unusual circumstances or exploration of very different cultures and environments were things that well written speculative fiction had the potential to do
much more often, along with exploring far different ideas and concepts of course and being great for atmosphere, heck even in speculative fiction my taste is pretty diverse from horror to sf to traditional swords and sorcery.
With interactive games things are at least a little different sinse manifestly you have different control over the story, but still I'd probably prioritize speculative at least mostly.
@Aaron, funny I am on the Cog mailing list and usually they send me e-mails about newest releases of titles which I then copy to the new releases room but I've not heard of this one, still maybe they've not got around to letting me know. Playing as a demon could certainly be different, is the game related to trial of the demon hunter at all? I've not played that one though I recall seeing a blog post to the fact the author had made a none interactive novel about the story and setting and was going on to write a sequel hence why I wonde red.
@mata, unnatural might be an idea, though sinse I'm still in the middle of zombie exodus I'm a bit zombied out at the moment, .
