DACs are a very personal thing what sounds good to one person turns another person off entirely. I have not heard a DAC that I like better than the Classe DAC1. They retailed for $4,000 and were worth that price new. They can be had for as little as $800 now. A used Classe DAC1 is a steal at $800 in my opinion.
