Thanks for the replies. I have to admit to hoping that they were better quality than this, and were metal, not of shiny plastic. Although the woofer might give me some reasonable bass I would have nowhere to put it. Anyhow, I swore years ago that I would never ever buy another Creative product.
Maybe I'll have to concentrate les on the funky looks and find a small powered speaker with a reasonble sound (and good bass, if possible), that'll fit on my shelf.
