Thanks guys for the helpful replies. I have also been looking at some of the forums on audio circle - http://www.audiocircle.com/ - so many forums but the square circle is good fo SBs and there are a lot of references to T-amps on the two-channel audio and multichannnel & digital.
There are some interesting posts by small companies like Red Wine Audio and Boulder Cable Company who modify SBs, produce their own amps etc. Has anybody in England or Europe dealt with Red Wine Audio as their products seem very impressive and reasonably priced and have a very dedicated and enthusiastic following in the States.
