It is a cd source.

And I think from this point forward I will rip at default. but like I
said I have done a lot of testing between the 2, and didn’t notice a
difference, just a what I perceive to be a small amount of greater
resolution to string instruments. (if I had a blind test, I would not
be able to tell a difference.!) lol.
