I run my SB+ straight into a power amp with +24dB gain and then into Linn Isobariks. This gives me a useable volume control range which for 'normal' listening is set around -15dB(*) on the SB (but with some CDs played loudly goes to around -3dB).
(*) On the 0-100 SB volume range, each step is 0.5dB I've also owned lots of Naim kit and still have a NAP140 kicking around here. My guess is that the -10dB setting would be fine for you, and no jumpers set at all won't be a disaster. Of course, an SB+ will sound better anyway ;-) -- Patrick Dixon www.at-tunes.co.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Patrick Dixon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=90 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28705 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
