I get the same problem, tried updating to different nightlies but no joy. Please post a link to the bug here and I will post my thoughts too.
I also have had problems with the Transporter locking on to signals at start up and when switching inputs. The result sending spurious signals to the speakers. Unfortunately I don't think the Transporter is robust enough to handle being a preamp at the moment. I am hoping this is a software thing and can be fixed.
