If you continue to go > on screen menu after the song filename, more info will be displayed, such as filesize/fileformat/stream format. This is the only way I knew so far. DVD movie audio are natively 24bit/96Khz sampled, compressed a bunch in DD5.1 or a little less in DTS, these are not compatible with SB3/TP. I suspect the apple DVD playback software will downconvert to 16/48Khz prior to stereo output, in this case the TP will play just fine.
