Oh dear.  A bug snuck in to the processor a while back, and since I
wasn't affected, I didn't even notice... but I think it's the cause of
these bad-sounding results.

Open "inguz.dsp.exe.config" (in \Program
Files\SlimServer\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\) with Notepad,
and if you see a line
<add key="partitions" value="2" />
change it to
<add key="partitions" value="0" />
then try again.  (No need to restart slimserver or anything; takes
effect on the next track play).
