I appreciate the ideas and confirmation I'm going about this correctly. I picked up my cable online this morning.
Any advice on best practices for amp volume level and recording level? I notice the sound levels barely seem to register on Audacity even when recording levels are turned all the way to max. This is at a high, but not quite "disturb the neighbors" listening level. When I change the Audio track setting on Audacity from Waveform to Waveform (Db) I get a more lively chart output.
