You might want to check in the players audio settings from the web interface on slimserver, to disable digtial outputs on power off. After this try and turn the SB off and on and see if it locks. If your problem was similar to mine, it probably won't. I never resolved my similar issue with my EVS DAC -- which had absolutely no problem locking to DVD/CD Players I have tried. It just couldn't lock to the SB via Coax(it had no optical). I liked the SB so much I purchased another brand DAC which has no issues. I think the tollerances on certain DAC/SB Combinations must be just slightly too far out of acceptable range for a lock.
