In my chain, I have a combination of Kimber, Mogami, and Cardas cables. All I care about is that they somehow provide some sort of assurance of being built well for optimal transparency - I have never been under the illusion cables provide for active improvement. They just have to be good quakity enough to not compromise the chain.
