My sub interconnect is coiled around /piled on top of a 1500W transformer (220/110V). The sub (Velodyne) can output a frequency note from 20 to 160Hz which is picked up by a mike and displayed on the TV through the AVR. This to allow the sub to be blended in with the room/main speakers. There is no 50Hz spike on the frequency display. I am always puzzled on what the physical mechanism is when folks have interference from power frequncies.
