Sean, My wife suggested a solution to the problem raised in this thread:
A Placebo Package download. I understand that there might be some engineering effort involved. There will also be some marketing effort to create suitable names for the package. However, I think it will be cost effective in the long run. (And you don't have to re-engineer the Placebo Package for every problem.) In the meantime, keep doing real engineering.
