If you have some music that can be so improved by a simple tone adjustment, wouldn't the best solution be to rip the CD, use an audio editor to make those tone adjustments, and then either burn them back to CD or load them into SlimServer?
In other words, if you've identified a disc that has problems that can be corrected in such a manner, why not just modify the disc so that it no longer sounds wrong--and why not simply throw out the disc that sounds wrong when you're done? Then you don't need tone controls, and you also don't have to reset everything back to normal when you play a different disc. -- CatBus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CatBus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36887 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
