Shocking but true, but as has already been alluded to, you're ahead of
the 'mass-adoption' curve already at this point. Slimserver/Squeezebox
provides the platform, but the supply of digital music for 'hi-end
audio' still needs to catch up. You can buy very expensive boxes that
automatically rip CD's for you, but otherwise, getting lossless
(CD-quality) music files is still a bit of a bleeding-edge exercise,
and has no future as a business, as it will eventually be co-opted by
direct purchase of lossless files via the internet.
Really, you can thank the RIAA for making 'computer audio' difficult to
get set up - they don't want you to do it!
