You missunderstand the argument. All music is streamed to the SqueezeBox, it has no local storage beyond a small playback buffer.
The argument is whether FLAC sent directly to the SB sounds different to the same file being de-compressed to it;s original WAV and that streamed to the SB. Personally i can't see how it would make a difference, but then what do i know?
