Hi, This should be an easy question.
In my newly remodeled media room, I would like to have the following set-up: 1. Apple Macbook 2. Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11n version, because I will use iTV) 3. Hard drive with music connected to AE. Now, I don't have all the pieces in place and I am tired of calling Apple support. My questions are: 1. For ripping, can I point iTunes to a network drive? Or does it need a direct connection? Not so important but wireless would be convenient. 2. For playing, would Slim Server be able to work with a network drive instead of one directly connected to the computer?
