I don't remember the name but it was a comeback album in the late 80's or early 90's that was out about the same time as Peter Garbriel's "So". I bought both of those and others because reviewers gave them excellent marks for sound quality. The Steve Winwood disk I never really liked but listened to anyway because it sounded "good".
For the last 10 years I have had nothing like a nice high end sysem to listen to so I think that my audiophile obsession has been snapped. Someone said in this thread that audiophiles think about their next gear purchase while music lovers think about their next music purchase.
