Long time Martin Logan, and current CLS, owner here. After 15 years of (apparently highly enjoyable) stat sound I'll wager to bet that you will be very hard pressed to change to another type of speaker (especially a boxed one) and be as happy.
For the same reasons that you list I too have tried other speakers but always return to a Logan, or a Quad.
