Hi all, I've been a happy user of the Transporter for several months now. What a great piece of gear! I am using the TP's digital output in to a hot-rodded APL/Denon 3910 DAC/preamp combo. Sounds wonderful to my tired, old, but musically loving ears.
The Slim Devices software is at 6.5.4, and the firmware is 31. I've seen a lot of discussion on a new release 7.0 and updated firmware, some not so good. Question is: Should I upgrade to another software version or another firmware level? At this point, I'm not concerned about bells/whistles/funtionality, but I ma concerned about sound quality. Any help/opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.
