Kind of makes a mockery of threads like "what balanced DAC should I buy".
My understanding is that in theory balanced should have the edge, but requires a good implementation, and as such can result in a worse solution. After years of seeing this kind of technology at all costs being preached, I'm now a believer in the idea that if it sounds better, then it is.
