But that's my point...
If they're well designed, they won't be susceptible to mains noise. 
Very often I see amplifier circuit designs, which have very poor
rejection of supply noise.  If the designer really feels that approach
gives the best sound, then he/she should take much greater care
designing the power supply, to ensure it rejects mains noise.  

You can reject mains noise in the power supply, or in the audio
circuit.  In my opinion, products that don't provide adequate rejection
in either, and rely on a quiet mains for good sound, are poorly
designed.
