Wireless does have some dependancy on individual situations... If
you're in the vicinity of many other wireless networks, cordless
phones, and microwaves, or are at a significant distance from the
wireless transmitter, you may suffer the problems you're describing.

20ft is not that great a distance though, if your boxes have external
antenna's, have you tried changing the orientation of those? If not,
you can also try changing the orientation of the box itself. Also you
don't mention the file format you're streaming, a compressed format
will reduce the bandwidth requirements, making it easier to maintain a
constant stream. FLAC or Apple Lossless will give you the full
fidelity you desire, but with roughly half the file size....

You can get good service with wireless, but it may require some extra
care depending on your specific situation. Wired is rock solid, so you
may want to think about stringing an ethernet cable.

Good Luck! Dave
