This is the reason for "Try before you buy", and line
conditioners/filters are arguably where this advice is most important.
If you've got good clean power in your neighborhood, a line filter will
do very little. If you've got a microwave tower on your left, and a
heavy industrial park on your right, you'll probably wonder how you
ever lived without one!

It wasn't my intention to slag on Monster, rather I wanted to point out
these things are very situation dependent. Just because a model works
wonders in one persons setup, is no reason to assume it will do
anything in yours.... (and vice versa!)

cheers, Dave
