Just test your system like I describe in an earlier post in this thread. The UPS will not make a difference if your AC is clean already or if any noise on your AC doesn't make it to your speakers. Both scenarios can be measured by everyone who -knows- how to use a scope. Even if you have to pay someone to do this for you, that will be way cheaper than first buying a small UPS for trying out... and you might not even hear what the scope will show you.
