Yes you connect them both to the mains! (and then together using the cable you have been given). The Cyrus Two is very slightly bass light. I don't believe that bi-wiring will make nuch difference but it does depend on the nature of the crossover in your speakers. I've never found bi-wiring to be a massive benefit (unlike bi-amping which certainly is worthwhile). YMMV.
